Franklin Monument in Franklin TN

The Confederate Monument was erected in the Franklin Town Square on Nov. 30, 1899.  The statue represents the Confederate soldiers who fought in the Civil War.  The soldier faces third avenue, because that is where most guests arrived by train. This drawing is part of the Historic Franklin series.
